Wouldn't have been my choice. But two things: If this is the way the Browns draft, as players to fill the needs, I like it. And some Buckeye drafts finally.

Not gonna be a popular opinion, but I think 4 is too high for Denzel, Buckeye or not. And it's dumb with Chubb there.

I think plenty share your opinion and still have love for Denzel.

I'm fine with it. They drafted good football players and didn't mess around with bullshit trade downs and tweeners. Got tired of them trading down to mid 20s to grab average dudes. Again, the spots they took them in are weird, but this draft isn't great.

This draft is weak. Best you can do as a team is take the player you need to fill a hole and get better.

With two of the top four picks the clowns do what the clowns do consistently and screw the pooch....Ward will stick long term, but color me shocked if they aren't at the top of the draft the next two years looking for a franchise QB. Chubb was the pick at 4 and they dropped him right in Denver's lap...
