I've wanted Todd Haley gone for years.

His offenses are very inconsistent week to week.

He overthinks things, that wasn't the first time we've thrown deep downfield on 4th and a foot. He was also quarterback sneak averse at Kansas City.

He runs Bell into the ground to the point that he's worn down or injured for the playoffs.
.

Had to revisit some Steelers fans talk on Haley after he was shown the door. Hate to say we've seen a bit of this so far in Cleveland.

I'll be honest, and I know I'm in the minority here, but I don't HATE the idea of them taking Mayfield. I have never been high on Darnold. And while I think Rosen is probably the "safest" bet, I'm not sold that he'll be elite. I think Mayfield is a punk, but he's had to work for everything he's ever had, has the motor/drive, and despite lacking ideal size, I think he has a good enough arm and the best accuracy of the bunch.

Mayfield is the kind of player you love when he's on your team, and hate when he's not. I think his style of play could win clowns fans over in short order.

I’ve never been a Mayfield fan. But reading some of the pieces done on him over the past couple of weeks profiling his path from a walk-on at Texas Tech becoming a true fresh starter, to Oklahoma where he became one of the most productive qbs of all-time to the number one pick in the nfl draft, I have developed a grudging respect for him.
Just here to toot my own horn a little. Toot, toot.

Now, it's only one game against a terrible team, so we shouldn't be crowning his ass just yet, but there was a noticeable difference in that team when he took the field and he looked the part of an NFL QB.

I don't know exactly why, but i felt differently about that pick than any other in recent memory. I like guys that don't necessarily have all of the physical traits you look for but bust their ass. Give me one of those guys over a physical marvel that wants to coast on his abilities any day. Baker Mayfield is the former.
Not gonna be a popular opinion, but I think 4 is too high for Denzel, Buckeye or not. And it's dumb with Chubb there.
Dumb fuck.
