I thought Peppers did well at the introductory conference. I have a glimmer of hope. I kind of like all three of the guys they picked in round 1. They impressed me.

I didn't expect to, but there it is.

Liked the Kizer pick too.

If the Browns had taken Best Buckeye Available with every pick the past two drafts they'd be 600% better off. No homer.

Just to recap...

After two days, the Browns have drafted players from Aggy, scUM, Da U, Brian Kelly's under the bus tour and a school which has played football for a grand total of four years. Things are looking up.

Texted at 12:57pm today.

"With this front office i fully expect Kizer to be the pick at 52"

Jesus fuck they make it too easy.

That said, listening to the interview, Kizer is a nice kid. Well spoken, loves the state of Ohio and sounded happy on the phone. I don't hate him like I hated the Quinn pick. The physical ability is there and that back shoulder wheel to silence Texas before the collapse was a thing of beauty.

Not saying much but on the Gruden camp he was easily the best interview and best at breaking down coverages and protections.

I might not like it, but I am pulling for him.

Same here. My fear is he is the Gilbert of this year's draft though. Hopefully he proves me wrong.
