I thought I'd never say this but I'm kind of warming up to the TE they got late in the 1st. I did a little reading about him and it appears he's a very good athlete. I'm not sure they needed to move up to get him.

In any case, once he steps on the field he'll likely turn into another stiff. That's how things work with this franchise.

Sad thing is the Coaching staff on this team isn't bad... the FO is a fucking train wreck and a half... shit it makes the WH look organized and on the same page.. sad thing is Hue's probably gonna be fired after being shitty this year when all that needs to be shitcanned is the FO.

If the front office claims they use analytical to evaluate players, I can understand it with the TE since he had over 600 yards in reception last season. However, Gerbil's production doesn't warrant a first round grade. Not even close. If you're going to use that metric to evaluate players, then use it consistently because they didn't do that last night as evidenced by Gerbil.

I'm seeing all over the place that the only reason clowns fans are trashing the Peepers pick is because they're all Buckeye fans and hate *ichigan. Have they not paid attention? Clowns fans have been trashing most of their picks for YEARS. Nevermind that Peepers isn't particularly good at any specific position. Nevermind that he disappeared against any decent competition. Nevermind that he's lousy in coverage, has poor instincts, and overpursues constantly. I don't care if he went to Boston College...it's a shitty pick, given they could have had Malik Hooker, an actual ball-hawking safety. Morons.

Day after it's sounding like Peppers is a Greg Williams special. And that actually makes some sense compared to the MoneyBall guys.
Still Manziel level fuckup imo
Whatever... i think im finally done with the Browns. Only so many times you can watch them go full retard with media hype busts Edwards, Quinn, Richardson, Weeden, Manziel, Peppers... constantly trading down for next year picks and passing the buck...
It never changes.
Manziel esp had me on the edge ... this is just the final straw.

People try to pin my hatred of Tom Brady on him being from Michigan. I don't remember him from Michigan. It's possible that somebody is just fucking hate-able. I'm capable of disliking a person or a draft pick outside of me being an Ohio State fan. This was just dumb. Maybe he has a super power where he makes people see things that just aren't there. I dunno.

What bothered me most about the Browns is their insistence of trading back for the next year. Problem has been the "next year" has never came and even when it does they'll just fuck it up even more grandly.

You know the Browns FO thinks they're so slick for gathering all these draft picks. They actually think they're making progress. It's like an investor who keeps saving money to invest one day and then sees Enron sitting there looking all swag and they think it's legit.

Last year I said I was done with this clown show. I watched several NFL games with no allegiances and found it refreshing. Unfortunately, every draft I get reeled back in temporarily hoping this shit show turns the corner.

I said it last night, there's no way analytics lead them to this taking of Peppers. Had to be some "he's a football player" type asshole.

We now know who that asshole was.

IF this coaching staff survives the next couple seasons, put a muzzle on Gregg Williams when his pick flames out.
