All right all you armchair GMs, in the upcoming draft for Cleveland - who do you want, who do you not want, who can you live with. Let's do first round only for now.

Want: Garrett, Foster, Barnett, Adams, Hooker, Lattimore
Do not want: Watson, Tankersley, Peppers, Ramczyk, Robinson, Fournette, Cook, Howard
OK with: Trubisky, Kizer, Baker, Wilson, Reddick, Williams.

I know with a little effort we can out do Cleveland. But, hell, who can't?

Want? At #1 overall is tricky. I see Garrett has all the physical tools but his hand usage, and for lack of a better phrase, violent play - they both escape me.
There is something about this guys game I don't like and its hard to put my finger on.

Overall I like Allen, Adams, Hooker, Lattimore, Trubisky, Elfein & Garrett* so 'want', I guess.

Do NOT want: Pretty much your list, toss in Kizer though. No chance I take him 1st round, maybe not even 2nd.
Fournette will only play 3-4 years in the league with his style. There's only so many hits you can take. Cook will be a great player, but we don't need a 1st round RB.

For Garrett it's simple, his season this year was reminiscent of bosas 2015 at OSU, but Garrett has clearly not been taught some of the technique of the position that bosa has. Don't over think it, take him and move on.

As for #12, depends on how the chips fall. Peppers or oj Howard would be disappointing. The best cb on the board, assuming hooker and Adams are gone, would be palatable.

Fair point RE: Garrett.

I like Howard but not at 12. Honestly if we receive an offer for that spot that involves moving 5-6 picks in exchange for an additional 2nd rounder - I'll take it. Going to be a lot of day 2 value in this draft.

I'll dig through my Twitter to find it, but someone said they had around 80 players with grades of mid 2 or higher. So, lots of value in the first two days of the draft.

Do not blame it Nick but he will never sign with the Browns for 2 reasons. He probably wants to play for a winner at his age and the Browns will not sign him because of his age and salary demands.
On the other hand if you are going with a rook at QB it makes a lot of sense to have a vet center...and money is no issue in terms of cap space
