Everything I have read he is mostly been practicing on the left side but who knows what will happen when training camp really begins. He has been practicing on both sides, so its hard to say right now where he will end up. I prefer the right side but, man we could run left all day if he does end up there.
as part of that article from that link and your guests was correct. Can't link to the article - I presume it's about Crowell?
moreBEREA: Browns undrafted rookie running back Isaiah Crowell possesses no shortage of confidence and he also possessed a significant amount of potential when he left high school in 2011 to play for the University of Georgia, a Southeastern Conference powerhouse that happened to be close to home.
He flashed his potential but also found enough trouble to send his football career down a different path. The road wasn’t long and winding, but there were detours of his making.
After being chosen as the SEC Freshman of the Year and leading the Bulldogs to the conference title game, things unraveled.
Slapped with felony weapons charges, according to reports, Crowell found himself dismissed from Georgia’s program. Although authorities eventually dropped the charges, he still had to locate a new college home. Enter Alabama State. More honors, including being named Southwest Athletic Conference newcomer of the year in 2012, came along with 6.6 yards per carry on 1,211 yards with 15 touchdowns in 2013.

It was strange that we did not hear much about him during OTA's FWIWThey took a poll on Dawgs by Nature and Crowell got nearly half the vote for who would you keep as the 3rd RB. Lewis got 34% of the vote. Personally I think they both make the team unless Crowell fucks up. I think Lewis should see plenty of reps in the slot given the lack of depth at WR.

Lewis going from the backfield to the slot gives a nice mismatch for us. If Miles can stay healthy and be 75% of what he was while I presume we'll be creative with Cameron. Passing game might not be too terrible. Of course this is all predicated on running the ball.
On another note, I wonder what the NFL is doing with Gordon. They are certainly not doing the Browns any favors by dragging this out. Maybe they are afraid of the whole marijuana issue and it is possible ramifications like, how many guys in the NFL have never smoked marijuana. They just were not being tested twice a week like Gordon was being tested because he was in Phase 2.
