Cleveland Browns (2014 Season)

Report this morning that on twitter, the daughter of whoever the DC in Buffalo is was talking about her father interviewing for the HC position, and she closed with "It's the Browns, but it's still pretty cool".

Smack talked by Buffalo people...we have truly hit the gutter head first.
Phrasing. This makes it sound as though the clowns haven't been swimming in the gutter for years now...

Why would any good young coach give up the best OC job in the NFL to get a 1 year guarantee with the Browns? Chud really needed to be Lane Kiffin bad in order to fire after 1 season. The Browns have screwed themselves for year.
I do not know how you can call him a "good young coach" when he has not proved anything without Manning.. I could do a good job as OC with Manning as my QB. We shall see who they get and then we should make a judgment.

That is really okay with me. I do not think he has that much experience and I think without Manning they would not even be looking at him. After reading the story about Quinn on Cleveland.com I would wait for him.

Well, yeah, I think Gase was a situation where they wanted to talk to Gase, but, much like McDaniels, unless their QB comes with them, I'm not all that interested. Now, as Litl alludes to, if the reason they are waiting is to talk to Quinn, and they get him, and he's been a/the target all along, then that makes a lot of sense.

does having 5 pro bowlers, all of which were on the team when you got there, yet finishing with a worse record than pat shurmur, qualify as lane kiffin bad?

Soooo...the guy they say they were holding up their own coaching search for, now they're not even going to interview. Yep, this FO is sure as [Mark May] different than the last few, alright.

As for Gase not coming, I got two words for ya..."Thank God".

Did they say it or did MKC say it. (I honestly don't know, just asking)
