Cleveland Browns (2014 Season)

I'd like to highlight that this is exactly what many of us wanted and expected to start the season. I'll have no qualms what-so-ever if this team continues playing the rest of the season like they did last night. Especially defensively. On offense my only real concerns are the Oline continuing to progress and our young RB's holding onto the god damn ball. Crow is our most talented back, hell, he might have the most natural talent of any RB in the AFC North - but it means little if he's a fumbling risk.

Going back to the Oline. I think last night was a bit of the Bungles Bungling and a bit of growth. McDonald stone walled Atkins a couple times in pass pro. Even if Geno is only 75-80% , he's still an above average tackle and that means a lot in terms of confidence.

Crazy enough, we get Houston at home after a huge win with plenty of time to rest in between. The Atlanta and Carolina games look winnable from here and I honestly believe we take the next one away from the Ratbirds. 9-7 wild card could be very possible with this team.

I really want Buffalo and Indy. Buffalo because we get their pick and Indy because they have so many former Browns that I'd hate to lose to.

If the defense is what we saw against Cincy and continues the weekly improvement since the Steelers game - then I might be willing to buy into this.

As long as the defense can stay healthy I think Cincy will be what we grow to expect from them especially against a tree like Mallet. This will be a big game to show that the OL can block a good DL and still run the ball and that they grow from the Cincy game rather than take a step back like they have in the past after a big win.
