Ehh. It's mainly on the defense. They can't stop the run to save their souls between the 20's. Special teams didn't help. That's 6 points on the board.
Should be 3-0, 2-0 in division. Yet we are 1-2 and 0-2. That's what separates good teams from bad teams, finding a way to win, Browns find ways to lose.
Pettine, thought you were a defensive guy? Not impressed at all with that side of the ball after all this stout D talk.
I mean it is sad how Cleveland finds ways to fail. Curse is still strong.
Gave the appearance that they were in the game and could win despite them actually not doing one damn thing well and when it came down to it all units pissed it away and they lose to a division rival at the last-second.
I guess the one positive I can take away is, when was the last time we can honestly say that this team *should* be 3-0. ?
It's been a long, long time.
I see a team that can compete for 4 quarters, but has trouble closing. Quite the farcry from a few years ago when this team wouldn frequently lose by 20.
And how about Hoyer completing %80 of his passes? Damn.
I'll say this, the schedule before Cincy couldn't set this team up any better.
Bye week to get your shit straight. Tenn, Stillers @home, Jags, Raiders & Bucs. All of those games are winnable. That interior Dline needs to get fixed, fast.
