I think Lombardi will go QB in the first round, and then Bray in the 4th or 5th. Not [Mark May]ting, I see 2-3 QBs in this draft. Book it. Paint the endzones (because we'll never disturb them during the season).

I'm at the point in what remains of my "fandom" where this franchise is more valuable to me as a comedic release than an actual NFL team. What I'm saying is I kinda hope they do draft Smith and I get to see several games of him going all Akili Smith in the snow before they bring in the next schmuck.

I've started something here - I've seen this being used across several boards. Quite proud of that, by the by.

I usually don't drink on weekdays. But I'm having one right now and I shall commence with the brew's tomorrow at 7:00 sharp. I figure if I can slam a 6 pack by 8ish I'll be lubricated enough to take the ass pounding that I'm sure will be our #6 pick.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports the Browns are "seriously considering" a trade for Davone Bess, and are one of "several teams in the mix."

Reporter Sean Jensen hears "mid-round picks (are) being discussed." The Miami Herald confirms Bess is on the block, and it would be a "surprise" if he wasn't moved. Bess' ticket out of Miami was punched the day the Dolphins randomly signed Brandon Gibson to a three-year, $9.755 million deal. A chain-mover who offers nothing after the catch, Bess is due $2.6 million this season. He could maybe fetch a fifth- or sixth-round pick. A fifth would be a big-time win for Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland.
