Cleveland Browns (2013 Season)

I'm pretty sure Little has found a new home playing in the slot.
Maybe not. It will be interesting to see if they do move Little into the slot permanently instead of Nelson.
At 6-5, 214, Nelson was the Bills' slot receiver and likely will play a similar role here. He possesses sure hands to go with his excellent size, dropping just six of the 141 passes thrown to him in his pro career, according to ProFootballFocus.com.

May be he knows something that we do not know… Like he will be there at #6:)
No one already in a Browns uniform will answer the question of how many games the team will win in 2013.

Dee Milliner, however, took the bait when the topic came up in an interview on WKRK 92.3 FM—The Fan.

“How many games are we going to win?” said Milliner, playing along with the thought he will be issued an orange helmet after the Browns make their pick at No. 6 overall on April 25. “We’ll be a contender in the playoffs.”

I do not quite understand this trade because we already have OB… as a scat back and Buckeyne really liked Acho.
The Browns have traded 2012 sixth-round linebacker Emmanuel Acho to the Eagles for reserve running back Dion Lewis, a league source confirmed for the Plain Dealer.

Acho, the 204th overall pick last year out of Texas, spent all of last year on injured reserve with a leg injury.

Lewis (5-7, 193) was a fifth-round pick of the Eagles in 2011 out of Pittsburgh. In two seasons, he's appeared in 24 games, rushing for 171 yards on 36 carries (4.8 average) and two touchdowns.

That will depend on training camps, coaches scheme's and formations.

Nelson has the history of being a more sure-handed target, but if Little can pick up where he left off in the 2nd half of last season then the Browns have some intriguing options.

I do agree, but the issue if i remember correctly was the fact that we didn't have any deep threats, therefore corners constantly squatted on routes we ran and constantly undercut routes we ran because teams knew we couldnt separate.

Lewis was a good player in college, and could be considered a back with a different style and size than Richardson, which could open things up if used properly. So I don't have a problem with the signing/trade/whatever. But I wonder where this leaves Hardesty and Ogbo...one will likely go, if not both.

Obby is gone. I can't see Hardesty being traded because he's actually been rather productive when healthy of late.

I liked Acho coming out of Texas and thought he could develop into a nice situational pass rusher. That's not saying we just traded some franchise player - I liked what his (possible) development could have brought.

I have no issue with this trade other then the fact we are rather thin at LB and this means we need to turn to the late round in the draft for contributors.

Ogbonnaya just signed a 2 year deal. (yeah, i know mostly worthless) but, I'd entertain the idea that maybe this is really the end of Owen Marecic given Norv's history of feature backs plus, say Darren Sproles. Plus, given Richardson last year, along with Hardesty's history, they may feel like they need that many guys.

Anyway, I'd agree that Ogbonnaya is the most likely casualty here, I'd cross his name off in pencil, though. (Obviously, pre draft, the whole complexion on that position could change)

Thin at LB - only if you mean quality.. cuz quantity-wise we still have 9 and I would be surprised if we don't add 1 or 2 in this draft

RB - why did we re-sign Ogbo? despite his size, for some reason I think of him as a similar back to Lewis.. altho I admit the 5'7 (who probably is 5'5") can hide behind behemoth linemen... I kinda like having Hardesty & Ogbo in reserve... and I think of Ogbo as a 'scatback'

Ask me how thrilled I'd be to pick up Boren and let Owen go.. but then I'd also take Stoney too.. homer yes, but I think those two can help us in areas of need.. and are better than what we have.. Stoney as a backup

I would like to have 27 WRs on the roster.. with the hope of finding TWO worth a crap.. behind my keeper, Gordon... IF we're ever going to step up to playoff contender, not sure we can do it with Little and his inconsistency... can't recall a 'dropper' fixing himself (interject Braylon in here as proof)
