Cleveland Browns (2013 Season)

So in theory if the Browns were to move Schwartz to LG, I'm assuming we'd just put Greco at RG then? After all I thought they had given him a decent contract extension... I'm all for keeping Mack, but count me in the camp that says it depends on price.

As for Hundley? Not in the 1st, thanks.

With a 20 something pick... I wouldn't mind Hundley. He does have upside. And with Hoyer he can sit and learn a half season+ til he is ready. Now if the Browns knew for certain he would be there with their 2nd round pick, or trade up to get him in the 2nd round, that would be prefered. But you don't mess around if you like him.

This Blake Bortles kid from UCF. Reminds me of a poor mans Andrew luck.

Edit:
Right on que, fuckin' Jesse Palmer hair-do steeling my analysis.

This guy is someone to watch for the draft.

I like the idea of drafting a good QB from an overachieving mediocre program. Those guys have to find a way to put a team on their shoulders rather than relying on the system or the talent around them to do the heavy lifting. When somebody like that flies under the radar they can be a great value pick.

Exactly. Rodgers, Matty Ice, Wilson, Luck, Foles... You get the idea.

QB's that aren't surrounded by elite talent, still make plays and elevate the game of the players around them.

the bigger question is if he will come out this year. he has potential to be a top of the draft pick if he stays another year. guys like he and hundley could be top 5 instead of late 1st rounders with another year. that being said, rookie slotting makes the cash differential nowhere near as substantial, which really reduces the financial motive of improving one's draft stock.

but guys like he and hundley are good candidates for the browns, as the browns can snare them later in the 1st and let them sit with no immediate need to step right in and start. and, theoretically, they may actually assemble some talent around them so they aren't being thrown to the wolves.

Has the clowns grabbing Marquis Lee at 14 and Mettenberger with the Colts pick.

Interestingly, also has Bridgewater and Mariota going 1 and 2 to JAX and MIN. Clowney 3 to ATL.
I guess I would not mind the Browns drafting the two guys mentioned above but I would prefer a bigger WR and perhaps a more mobile QB. Lee has been a little injury prone while at USC but he certainly would stretch the field. Mettenburg I am just not sure about.
