Cleveland Browns (2013 Season)

How bad is Brandon Weeden? Chud took Derek Anderson, a turd if there ever was one, and made him a pro-bowler...even if for just one season. Norv Turner, as well a respected offensive-mind as there is in the nfl, and noted QB guru. Weeden has these guys coaching him, a couple of guys who, with even an average qb (Gordon, Cameron) would be pro-bowlers, and he's still a punchline. This is the guy Holmgren/Shurmur mortgaged the clowns 2-4 year future on to save their sorry asses.

That is encouraging that they are at least considering a QB change but I am not sure if Campbell is the answer.. When he played in Baltimore for that brief period of time, he looked pretty bad. His mobility look about the same as Weeden's.

I am pleased to hear that they are doing what they want because they are losing games. Yesterday, I even questioned some of the coaches decisions like going for it on fourth down instead of trying a field goal and throwing the ball on third-down with 1 yard to go when they knew there were going for it on fourth down.

Look, Campbell probably isn't any answer but at some point you have to say to the rest of the team what's going on isn't acceptable. Worst case is, you find out he's worse than Weeden, but, at least you know.

Norv Turner...how is Phillip Rivers doing this year, without him, compared to the last couple years with the (alleged) offensive guru?

The Montreal Alouettes backfield: Troy Smith and Tyrell Sutton

The Cleveland Browns backfield: Brandon Weeden and Willis McGahee

Which would you prefer?

Hey, before the year if I told you McGahee just 0.2 less YPC, you'd probably be a bit surprised!

As for QB, I have no defense of Weeden. I was a supporter of his before the year thinking his arm back in the shotgun with Norv would be enough to make him adequate, how wrong I was.

I'd prefer a Doug Pedersen/Travis Prentice backfield.
I remember my dad griping about this guy, 55 TD passes and 108 INTs. :so:

I'd take Steve Spurrier, 1976 TB Bucs (widely viewed as one of the worst seasons by a QB in NFL history) or Ryan Leaf on a bender at this point. Hell Id' take Steve Spurrier right now

I'd take Otto Graham, Moonlight Graham, Billy Graham, Jennifer Graham... Graham Rahal, Graham Nash... teddy Graham's... a Graham Cracker, I'd take a fuckin S'more right now.
