What's the worst that could happen if they sign Tebow? Losing games? The Browns already excel at that. At least you could say it's legitimately entertainment w/Tebow losing...
I guess I do not understand why more guys do not like Mariota. He has a rifle for an arm and can run like hell and with our offensive line that is always a plus.
If Weeden has another game like yesterday next week I think they have to make a change before the Ravens game. You can't trot him back out in front of the home fans with the way he's playing right now. If they don't think Campbell is worth a shot they better find someone else to get in the system this week to give him a couple weeks to learn the system.
I hear what you're saying, and I agree that Gordon looked like a diva crybaby in the second half. But here's the thing...receivers want the ball. And they know they won't get it (at least, not near them) with Weeden. Ever. I contrast that with, like, Dez Bryant this weekend. He was frustrated after not getting the ball in the first half against the Eagles. So he went in at halftime, talked to Romo, made some route adjustments to the coverages, and came out and caught like 4-5 passes on the next 2 drives. He ran good routes, and Romo got him the ball. If only we had a guy who could do that. If only.Gordon was extremely disappointing... saw no effort on his part.. especially when Weeden was scrambling
in all walks of life.. I would much rather have someone with average talent and huge heart... than great talent and average to no heart...
I'm pretty sure I could have thrown a better pass to Little on the last play in the end zone...
How can you not put the ball where it needs to be.. from 10 yards out...
If you're going to fire a howitzer.. hit him in the gut or slightly ahead.. but not behind him (where the defender is too)
What has happened to Bess?
The controller, Kyrie, and Daytona ones were the besthttp://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2013/10/cleveland_browns_lose_to_green.html#incart_river
The one with the video game controller is goddmaned hilarious

Bess is useless to a guy like weeden. bess out of the slot runs a lot of underneath routes that require timing and touch. i'd be willing to wager that if you watch the All-22 film you'll see Bess open across the middle about 8 times with weeden never looking his way until he's forced to throw a missle to the far hash on a drag route, with zero chance of YAC.
but one thing is certain, they have to trot weeden out there to be the sacrificial lamb for KC next week. after that prison rape maybe campbell will get the nod.
That is encouraging that they are at least considering a QB change but I am not sure if Campbell is the answer.. When he played in Baltimore for that brief period of time, he looked pretty bad. His mobility look about the same as Weeden's.http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2013/10/live_coverage_rob_chudzinski_p.html
Notes from Chud's presser says he is now at least considering a QB change, though "We'll stick with our process" generally means "We don't give a [Mark May] that people think we suck, we're doing what we want."
