Cleveland Browns (2013 Season)

I do not want to crowd the exhibition vbet post with this stuff so I will put it here. I think that the Browns are very thin at the middle of the line when they have to start Pinkston because Luavo or whatever his name is because has some type of injury. Pinkston has even admitted that he is not fully recovered from his illness last year and is really not 100% football ready. With Greco being there really only other somewhat proven OG if someone else goes down the Browns could be in big trouble. It is my understanding that Greco is the backup center so if Mack would go down for any length of time the middle of that OL would be very weak.

Also interesting to note that Hardesty is battling a very bad hamstring and there is some talk that he might not make the roster. As I have said before, I know that Haslam loves him because he is from Orange & White country and Haslam gives out his rebates from that city.

Haslam should keep his mouth shut about the roster. Unless he wants to be Jerry Jones.

This front office thought the interior of our line was good enough and had depth.

I screamed about taking, and the need for a middle round guard. Now the front office will find out how bad their oversight will harm the team.

I imagine tonight will be bowling shoe ugly offensively. Weeden will be rusty, Lewis will show flashes but also that he is not an every down back (which is obvious, but it doesn't mean he can't be valuable), and the OL will likely suffer without Greco. We are one injury away from having one of the worst interior OL in the league, if not the worst, and that is coming from someone who loves Mack and likes Greco. I am more interested to see how the defense does, because that is what will keep us in games if anything does.

Oh, and they should cut Hardesty. Period.

It will be interesting to see how Mingo is used. Also looking forward to a glimpse at McFadden. That said - our guard play will most likely be trash, just like it was last season. Watching Lavaou get blown into Weeden's lap yet somehow Lavaou "grading out" to be one of our better lineman was laughable. We expect
Trent to be a between the tackles runner, yet that is our largest area of weakness.

As a whole, I'm excited. Excited to see our defense especially.

Oh - Hardesty needs to go. He just can't stay healthy.

You will not be seeing McFadden tonight. He is out with a hamstring injury and it has set him back quite a bit.
