Cleveland Browns (2012 season)

Browns could've had Richardson, Reiff or DeCastro, and Randle. Obviously, they really had no faith in Colt McCoy because that would've been a nice trio to help him.

Browns selected California RT Mitchell Schwartz with the No. 37 overall pick in the 2012 draft.

The only lineman at the Senior Bowl capable of containing Quinton Coples, Schwartz flew well under the radar in this year's tackle class. At 6-foot-5, 317, Schwartz is well built to play right tackle in the pros after starting 51 career games at Cal, 35 on the left side and 16 on the right. He scored a 35 on his Wonderlic test last spring and should be a Week 1 starter in Cleveland.

FWIW .. per D. Orlando Ledbetter who writes/follows the Atlanta Falcons

"I received a text from one my agent sources yesterday that read, '5 teams have Mitch Schwartz in the top 5 OL in the draft and top three OT. Cordy (Glenn is) not as high as you think.' (I had Glenn as the 3rd highest tackle, going to Arizona at 13).

There's at least one team with a first-round grade on Schwartz, who's brother Geoff played for Carolina. He signed with Minnesota during free agency.

Another text, 'Falcons like him. But a lot of teams like Mitch in the second. 85 percent chance he goes in the second. But a lot guys like him before the Falcons pick. If he is there, they take him.' .. "
