Cleveland Browns (2012 season)

5102 at the combine, I mean, he's not huge, but, he's not 5'7 either.

If Holmgren starts giving a fuck what the fanbase thinks, he should move on. That's Lerner's problem, not his.

the bigger problem with minnefield is his lack of strength, lack of speed, and lack of agility. that's why he shouldn't go before the 3rd round.

To be fair, I'm not sure there's much to indicate that Brees would be the QB he is today, back then, either. I'm sure we can find plenty of chumps with similar or better stats.

Regardless... most of the time, experience is the most important thing. (Chronologically, where were Alex Smith and Aaron Rogers two years in? Sucking and Riding pine IIRC.)

So, regardless, the reality is that you need to make the team better, either for Colt's development, or to be successful if you have to plug someone in, and Defense is the way to do that (Think ROFLberger, Brady, whoever)

If we are completely fair to Colt he has had 2 different OC's in his first 2 years. His first year, the OC didn't acknowledge his existence until he was forced into action. His 2nd year, he didn't have the benefit of OTA's to learn what the new offense would be. And let's not forget that for Colt's 2nd year, he had as his backup that piece of shit for a teammate Seneca Wallace. Seneca, "I am not Jake Delhomme and did not help Colt at all with the offense because I want to be the starter", Wallace should be off this team IMO. If I were GM, there is no way in hell I would read his selfishness and lack of team-first attitude in the Plain Dealer shortly after the 2011 season and keep him around.

And that isn't even mentioning having a rookie as the top WR and the drama Hillisbilly brought to the team and the rookie at LG.

I am not saying that Colt will be the next Drew Brees. I want to see him in a better team setting another season.

Bottom line is that in order to win the Indy 500, you need a good car and a good driver. The Browns can make steps to get the good car in place this draft and the 2012 season may indicate if they have the driver or not.

Minnie's dad was supposedly 5'9 and that was in spikes .. on concrete.. with his helmet on... but 6'7 Harold Carmichael couldn't out jump him.. serious ups

who were the first 3 picks?

if you haven't taken a rb, take peade all day.

Mo Claibourne
Kendall Wright
Zach Brown

I need more offense or a RT. I like Turbin and Polk at RB as well and they should still be there next round. The WR from Rutgers is also still available. Mohamed Sanu He is rated as 2nd round prospect by most services. Nick Toon and Marvin McNutt and Chase Minnifield are all possibilities as well.

I'm a huge fan of Turbin, and if you think you can get him with your next pick then I'd hold out.

Bobby Massie could warrant a long look at RT, but it might be too early there. Sanu also has a lot of value at this point, but I think WR depth this year is pretty strong. I'm especially fond of BJ Cunningham, TY Hilton, and Ryan Broyles who I think could all provide great value in later rounds.

I don't have a problem with that... but there's a difference between saying that and saying we're gonna reach for him to throw a bone to the fans.

My comment was made more out of frustration with the front office. Guess I expected too much out of Big Mike. Regarding Minnifield I have seen clips of him and while he might have his father's genes he is not the same when it comes to the field.

I do wish the front office would have thrown us a bone:) when they did not draft Matthews... big mistake.

Don Banks/SI.com have put out a new mock draft. They've finally been forced to get serious and address who the Browns might actually draft rather than just saying "Trade up RG III herp derp." He wouldn't let it go however without ripping on the Browns for not blowing their load to trade up, then implying that the Browns might be undervaluing Tannehill if they don't take him at #4, then almost saying "Ahh, fuck it. Just pick Brandon Weeden at #22."

#4 - Justin Blackmon, WR
#22 - Jonathan Martin, OT

This guy seems to be a derpaholic. He trashed us...in the Redskins pick. Fuck this bitchburger. Cleveland won't be sorry even if RGIII rocks the house, because if we gave up 3 years of first rounders, we would have nothing to put with him because this FO thinks bringing in Frostee the Snowderp is a building block move in FA (i.e., they don't bring in FAs).

All that said, he has Richardson at 13...I would try and do anything I could to package the 22 and 37 to get him with our second pick.
