Shame. I mean, he's obviously the fan favorite - even outside of Cleveland.
He could have a meaningful career with solid longevity if we had an effective #2 RB - (see Williams/Stewart which I define as the best 1-2 punch in the league)

This is what a lot of fans forget. It's not a Madden curse either. He's just not that good. He's a nice complement as a #2 back to a speed guy. Have all the people who wanted Hillis signed long-term forgotten about Derek Anderson?

He's Mike Alstott...and a poor fit for this "offense".

I'm still trying to get over the fact that I nearly screamed for Demarco Murray and that was the 3rd round.

What does the kid do in his first start? 25 rushes for 259 yards.

Instead we trade up for Hardesty the year previous. I just have to laugh about it really at this point.

Yep, if we could find somebody to compliment him (it ain't Hardesty) and he'd be willing to accept it (doesn't appear he would). In retrospect, and in classic Cleveland fashion, browns fans rallying votes for him to get the Madden cover appears to have turned him and his agent into a couple of entitled assholes.

to be fair, many green bay fans voted for him as well as they didn't want rodgers on the cover.

Hey, Hardesty had 95 yards...on 33 carries. If we give it to him 60 times a game, he's liable to get 200 yards once it a while :lol:
