Too bad about hardesty, who would have ever thought a guy with a ton of leg injuries would end up hurting his leg with the Browns? Its just a curse I guess. Hope the guy gets better and comes in next season ready to rock.
Here is to hoping Hillis comes in and freight trains people, really like that guy.
tsteele316;1763573; said:of the 3 paragraphs here, only one makes real sense.
first, exactly what moves did holmgren make (and by holmgren, I assume you mean Heckert, who controls the 53 man roster with input from Mangini) to set up Mangini to fail?
Hardesty injured the other leg from what he suffered in college. Hardly anything more than coincidence.
Hillis is a steamroller and will get ample carries, especially if Harrison continues to run like a pussy.

I hate the fact that we are a cursed franchise, if its not massive injuries it is staph.
Hillis is a beast and more than willing to block. Hope we see this guy

2. cleveland was set to take Corey Peters at 85. He got picked a few picks before hand. They couldn't agree on who to take, so Holmgren stepped in.
3. really, how many seahawks are on the roster? They have a backup qb, and a waiver wire transaction. Cleveland has acquired just as many guys from Philly. This argument is also a non-starter.
4. cleveland has fewer injuries at this time of the year than they've had in ages. When was the last staph infection of any note? JJ?

And for the other guy, this has nothing to do with Clausen, I would have loved to have seen Wootton picked with the pick we traded to move up.
tsteele316;1763680; said:You did not answer any of my questions. not surprised.
again, the knee hardesty just injured was not the knee he injured in college.
by the by, ben tate, who cleveland wanted, but was taken the pick before, was never injured in college and is also out for the year.

When was the last time there was any staph... give it a rest.
Just because you're still stuck on your boy from Notre Dame says nothing about McCoy.
hatehineygate;1763710; said:Are you putting me on, or do you really not think this franchise has had some outrageous injury issues?
I did answer your questions, you asked for specific examples of moves Homgren made. I dont think you realised it but you named two in your own post-McCoy and Wallace.
In terms of moves that dont make sense, I think there are only a few moves that actually make sense. Hillis was a great trade. I like the pickup of a decent corner, a little old, but he fits what we try to do on defense.
