Clemson Tigers (official thread)

Threads about how much Ohio State sucks?

Do they mean the same Ohio State that just coasted to a 3td victory against their tiggers? The same Ohio State that scored their last TD of the game with more than 14 minutes on the clock?

OK - I think I'll pass

Fuck 'em. We're better than them in every possible fucking way, and deep down inside they know it. The only thing they had on us were those recent football wins, but they know that we're the bluest of the blue bloods while they're nouveau trash. We're a top 20 all time basketball school, and they're a joke. We're in the Director's Cup top 5 standings every year, and they're a one sport foosball factory. Academics? Don't make me laugh. They're not fit to be our ball washers, and no I don't mean athletic balls.

I’ve never been to Clemson, I didn’t realize it was on a river in Egypt.

Yeah, that's where the "my pillow guy" gets the cotton for his sheets:

Reported (Reason: Porn)

The fumble reminded me of a call that went against the Bucks at Michigan. JT had been dropped and fumbled. He put his hand on top of the ball while lying next to it. Two Michigan players covered the ball and the refs gave them possession. I remember JT looking around in surprise, thinking, as Lawrence did, that a hand on the ball meant possession. Fowler and Herbie asked the expert the same question, "didn't a hand on the ball indicate possession?" and his answer finally solved what I had wondered about for a couple of seasons.

From Clemson's first possession on it was clear that those Big 12 refs had no intention of calling offensive holding. Every fan-base has fools that only see holding when the other team does it. Both O-Lines got away with a great deal of holding. That's the way the game was called. The most obvious holds were on Buckeye defensive tackles, but the orange-bespectacled fan-boys didn't see those.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that every fan base is the same. There is a very Miami-circa-January-2003 vibe coming from South Carolina right now.

Edit: Upon reflection, it's a little worse than Miami of 18 years ago. Miami didn't get out-rushed by 5X and lose by 3TD with the Buckeyes on cruise control for most of the 2nd half.

While worse, both teams can fuck themselves.
