Took a read through there earlier today, and honestly a lot of them are...well...not great. It was not a pleasant read.

Yeah, and Ohio State should thank Clemson for the high ratings for that game. People only turned on to watch Clemson. The evidence was something like how the Big Ten Championship game had a rating less than last year, and the ACC championship game had a higher rating than last year. (I'm sure Notre Dame didn't turn on any TVs.)

ESPN is going to go out of business with Ohio State in the championship game, instead of Clemson.

I work with a guy (Clemson fan) that doesn't think Ohio State plays big boy football because...they play north of the Mason-Dixon line. Nobody tunes in to see Clemson. Bama, Ohio State, ND, TTUN, Texas, Oklahoma bring viewers. I would assume most of the viewers may be to watch these teams get beat. I have been in my current line of work for over 16 uears and lived all over the country and only recall 2 Clemson fans. Both of them within the last 2 years. I have seen more Bama, ND, OU, Texas, and TTUN fans. Hell, I see more IU fans at work (in Indiana) than Clemson fans. But yeah, Clemson moves the needle.

It’s because if guys like that one from *goBlow. Fans from loser programs jumping on bandwagons tend to have zero sense of history. Clemson is a Johnny come lately program... that’s it. They will cycle out in due time.

I only got through the first few posts and decided that was enough. There are some fans saying the hit on Fields wouldn't have been as bad as it was if Fields didn't try and spin. WTF?

Clemson LB James Skalski ejected from Sugar Bowl for targeting

Clemson starting linebacker James Skalski was ejected from the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl on Friday for targeting on a hard hit to Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields in the second quarter.

"It wasn't anything intentional," Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said of the hit. "But, listen, the letter of the rule or technicalities of the rule, they're going to apply it. ... He was just trying to make a football play, and it's unfortunate."

Losing its leader, Skalski, was a huge blow to the Clemson defense. He was also ejected for targeting during last year's national championship game against LSU in the same stadium, the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

"He's one of the best players. It's like losing Trevor Lawrence. It was a tough play. It was a tough break," Swinney said.

Just sayin': "Tough break" my ass. In addition, their best pass defender was ineligible for the 1st half of the game for targeting in their prior game; this happened to Skalski in the National Championship Game last your too. I blame the coaches; Swinney (HC) and Venables (AHC/DC/LB) should be teaching the proper tackling techniques and insisting that the players (especially the key ones you can't afford to have ejected) use/follow those techniques. etc.
