Clarett spilling the beans

If OJ would have had a Dream Team of experts like this, he'd be playing butt darts in San Quentin right now.

Espn is like the Tibor of sports broadcasting, they love to stir up trouble.

It happened on East Market St. in Warren across from the sunrise inn, a local pizza joint, at a hang out spot named Central Cafe. Kory Stinger memorial service was held at Avalon Lakes Gulf Course. This was the 1 year memorial for Big number 77 passing. Clarett was drunk and running his mouth, he was saying that he didn't understand what the big deal was about Kory seeing as how he put Warren on the map and was the best player to come out of Warren not Stringer. Fromer Buckeye Lashaun Daniels O-line Kory Stinger's cousin didn't take MoC's comments very well. One right cross to Clarett big mouth and MoC was out for about 5 mins., I heard he pissed his pants when he was flat on his back. This did happen folks.

Interestingly... Dan Patrick (Mr. ESPN himself) is wishy washy on this too. Thinking it is a pre-emptive strike by Clarett to get back at OSU for them telling the NFL how bad he is. You can almost hear that he is not buying this either.

Dan Patrick will be here in a week and a half. He doesn't dare agree with the story before he comes here.

what an idiot!

Maurice Clarrett is a joke....Just another athlete who screwed up his life by making bad decisions. This is just a last attempt by him to bad mouth our program, to try and justify his poor decision making....

I hope this guy does get drafted and some monster of a linebacker like Urlacher or Lewis breaks his legs...

GO BUCKS!

ESPN can't lose on this story. All they have to do is report what other people are saying and not pass judegment. Makes OSU look bad, gets them a lot of attention, takes a cheap shot at OSU - and if it all turns out to be lies they have another story.

Its not like they are the NYT you know.

well, as I said on the last page, this whole thing is not shocking at all to those that were familiar with his attitude and his attempts to break laws and NCAA rules.

I was really hoping his words last year were just fluff and he wouldn't try to go through with any of it.

ESPN is bad enough, but driving around SE Mich I have to listen to the slappy heads on Detroit sports talk go on about OSU being crooked, how there will be "suicides in Buckeye Land" when the story gets out, and they kept "asking the big question: will the NCAA strip OSU of its NC????"

What bull.

I think if Clarett was trying to clear his name with the NFL he did a poor job of that. Maybe he and Ricky Williams can start their own league.

I have to believe JT will be completely vindicated. I also think this will bring the team closer together for the next three games. Let's win out for the Coach, boys!!!!

Go Bucks.

it is being said on BN that Geiger was asked to go on outside the lines to discuss the allegations. geiger asked espn to produce for him a written list of all allegations being made, and he would go onthe show to refute them. espn declined to provide such a list.

afteral, they wouldnt want geiger to go on their fully ready to refute anything they would try to throw at him to defame osu.

I'd like to think it's time for Geiger to say: "Put up or shut up"... to both espn and the head case.

INSIST ON A POLYGRAPH OF CLARETT ON HIS ALLEGATIONS PRESENTED BY espn.

Get an FBI certified examiner. Questions submitted in writing prior to pre-exam.

Exam witnessed by OSU lawyers, espn, mo's lawyers and Jim Brown.

Video tape every second of exam and pre-exam.

This whole thing would be over in 30 minutes.

Publish results on front page of Dispatch, espn mag. and NYT.

Good God, this is the fastest moving thread in history. I've been chasing the end of it from page 4 (I view 20 posts per page) and couldn't get closer than 2 pages back for what seemed like forever. I've made it! Now what's the fuss about? :2004:
