Cincinnati Reds 2023 (sell the team Bob)

On April 23rd they were 7-15 (22 games)
Since then, they are 19-15 (34 games). That is a win % of .559.
There are 106 games remaining so if they can keep up that pace they project to go 59-47 the rest of the way.
I'll take an 85-77 year and see where the chips fall.

There are a lot of reasons this could still turn to absolute shit but there are also a lot of reasons to be legitimately hopeful. Either way, it's interesting again and I will take that.

Hopefully they can overcome this weird scheduling anomaly and keep rolling. This kind of thing has the potential to send them into a tailspin. They have to be excited about 1st place being in striking distance between now and Monday.

Just saw that the game was on Apple tv-. What kind of shit is this - Brewers had a day game if I am not mistaken, as normal on getaway day, while the reds had a 22 hour turnaround time between first pitches. That's why they only got 3 hits in 11 innings. Fuck apple tv. Brantley said the stadium was packed and I didn't get to see it because I don't have fucking apple tv.

Sigh, anyways it looks like, naturally, the stronger bullpen won this one for the beer makers.

Starters are 27th (worst) having allowed the 3rd most runs in all of MLB. Only Oakland and Colorado are worse.

Bullpen is 11th worst in runs allowed

Offense is 13th (best) in runs scored

It seems pretty obvious where the help is needed/development needs to occur.
