Ok so in all the talk about who moves where once they call up EDLC and others...they have to stop carrying 3 catchers so that we keep Stephenson's wet noodle bat in the lineup every night. Casali has a wRC+ of fucking.../double checks...16. That's only 16 better than me so I don't think your going to miss out on anything by jettisoning him and only getting 60% PT out of Mr. wRC+ of 83 there.

Start with that and go forward. You also have the two "high priced" vets in Newman and Myers. Myers is a complete waste of a roster spot so that should be easy except he's an OF so you need to replace him with one. Newman's versatility and low cost might make him valuable to someone else for a depth piece.

You also need to consider trading Senzel. He starts to become arb eligible next year and he's really nothing more than a short side platoon player. No need to pay extra for that with all these kids coming up. His prospect pedigree and position flex will get someone to take a shot on him.

As far as the rest of this year goes, I think it's clear they are putting EDLC at 3B and letting him and McLain shuffle around a bit like they did in AAA. When CES is ready he and Steer can be you 1B/DH duo (again, fuck the Stephenson idea in the ass, he can't hit enough).

The lineup needs more power.

Ok I'm going to have to catch a Reds game this year and see Greene in person. He's gotten better each new time out from where he started the season. A ton more movement and location on his fastball right now and that slider is naughty. Perfect a change up or Cutter and he'll be hell to beat. Now, let's get him some runs to work with!
