Cincinnati Reds 2023 (sell the team Bob)

Man, I'm impressed with Lively. The kid doesn't have necessarily overpowering stuff but he knows how to pitch. The ball has a ton of movement on it and he throws it all over the strike zone. The boys are playing outstanding ball behind him too. They gunned down that dumbass at home by a mile with perfect throws in from the monster.

Time to dust off the ol #44, Eric Davis style jersey. Another 44 is coming soon to make it relevant again. Let's GO REDS!!

Can't wait to see Abbott get the call up to complete this rotation. He's absolutely dealing in all levels of the minors. Couple more starts at Louisville and he should be ready to go,

If nothing else, put him in the pen for the rest of the year. Williamson and Lively have been pitching great. Get Lodolo back and on track, this division is winnable.

So it looks like Friedel tweaked a hammy last night and Senzel is sitting for some reason. Of course, in Bell speak, it's nothing serious but we know what that means.

An IL trip for someone could make the call up of EDLC simple from a 40 man perspective but where do you play him right now? McLain is doing great at SS, India is the established guy on the team, you can't start yanking him around.

Good problem to have but EDLC needs to be up. Soon. If CES continues to improve his plate discipline then he needs to be up later. Think about a Senzel/Fraley platoon the rest of the year or think about trading someone at the deadline for pitching help.

It's interesting again. Feels nice.
