Cincinnati Reds 2023 (sell the team Bob)

I know the OF options are limited but I can throw better than Jake Fraley. If he is anything more than a LF platoon we are wasting a roster spot.

Luke Weaver would fit right into any Reds rotation of the past 20 years. He sucks dead donkey dick.

How gratifying to break the Dodgers' hearts. They get FA's like Freeman, we get FA's like Neuman. And they are still our rival. Their fans still have mental scars from the BRM days.

Why have a postgame show if you're not going to even mention Fraley's health, or whether he might have a broken bone. If he is out for two months, I'm much less optimistic about finishing the year over .500.

Who said Delly has "near elite" speed???
That dude can freaking fly and he looks like he's jogging! Just watched part of the replay and that double was sick. I'm too excited

He was measured as the second fastest player in all of AAA baseball if I am not mistaken. It ain't "near" elite speed. It's elite. Eyeballs can tell us that.

You bring CES up and put him with Votto's corpse at 1B/DH
India 3B
McLain at 2B
EDLC at SS
Steer in LF
Fridel in CF
Senzel/Fraley platoon out in RF
Stephenson and 1 of the two backup catchers

You now have a lineup that isn't 1/3 or more auto outs. They are already good at OBP and baserunning. Now they start to get some pop. You are maybe top 1/3 of MLB in offense kind of attack as soon as this year.

Starters you have Greene, Lodolo, Ashcraft, Abbott and Williamson/Lively/Weaver to round it out. They have a good K rate but walk too many guys and are prone to give up HR's. That's just development from here. There is no help on the way but you shouldn't need anymore. That is the beginning of a good to great rotation.

Pen is actually decent. Closer is elite. Salazar has the look of future elite. Always need to be tweaking and improving but it isn't a total dumpster fire.

This can be a .500 team this year but no matter what, it's fun again. There is legit reason for hope with all the kids coming up and doing so well when they come up. This is the most I have enjoyed Reds baseball in Woody only knows how long.
