EDLCs OBP is down to .317 and 10th on the team. He’s striking out north of a 40% clip since being moved to the lead off spot. Really need to reset the order and maybe bat Friedl or Benson #1.

His 4/5 night in LA on July 30 notwithstanding, he has 0 or 1 hit in every single game since July 9.

Sitting at 60-55. 47 games remaining.
If they just play .447 ball from here on out they get the 21 wins necessary to be a .500 team this year. With all the rookies and injuries I would take that in a heart beat.
OTOH, they are still in the mix for the NL Central and a WC with a lot of guy supposed to be coming back from injury the next 3 weeks. I think the pen is too weak and over used to pull it off but the experience will be invaluable for all the young guys.
Still the most fun watching and interest I have had in Reds baseball in years. Probably decades. The future is bright.
