It's looking pretty fucking grim right now. Hopefully the injured guys can come back and provide a spark but the offense has been tits up for over a month now.
This team wasn't supposed to do anything this year. The rookies got called up and did better than anyone expected so hopefully the pitching stays healthy and develops next year to go with the core of hitters and this is a playoff contender for a while.
How the front office handles the off season will tell a lot. I wasn't that worried about no trades at the deadline but if they don't do anything at all to work on the edges of the roster in the off season then it's likely same-old-Reds and that will be hard to stomach.
