Cincinnati Reds 2018 season (It's that time of year again)

The parent is Price, the kid is the Reds, the road is the season, the bike is GABP and the tree is #121. They got this.
I call bullshit on this one, no way the Reds season is wearing a helmet

I was trying to think of a helmet analogy. The security guys that prevent fans from running on the field and giving Reds players the thourough ass beating they deserve? It protects the kid from the full force he should endure from running directly in to a tree that he saw a mile away. That kid deserved that concussion that he quite possibly avoided.

In the Reds season that pole snaps in half, comes down in the road, a car swerves to avoid it and runs over the mother, dragging her for some distance to a slow, agonized and gory death in front of the kid.

The kid grows up knowing it was the bikes fault and that there is something fundamentally dark and evil about this world which he will never be able to escape from or change.

He is now a scarred, bitter, resentful, bicycle hating mother fucker.

The bicycle is The Reds. We are the kid and our hopes of winning/expecting good things to happen are Mom.

That’s how we know the world is fucked. It should be the kid on his bike in the road, and nobody swerves for fucking bicyclists (wrong thread?) so the kid would get drilled by a car (hopefully going faster than the residential speed limit) and nobody else would have to suffer from the Reds anymore as the kid wouldn’t experience any more disappointment and the bicycle would be totaled. Hope lives on.

Zack Weiss makes his MLB debut in relief

2 hitters faced, 2 HR's and they have both endangered the life of fans out in LF

apparently no one in the Reds organization has told this kid you can't throw fastballs right down the middle so I don't blame the kid.

EDIT

so the kid made an adjustment and quit throwing it over the plate

good news is no more HR's, bad news is he walked two guys

Price finally came out to get the poor bastard

Ugh, that kind of pitching made Homer Bailey a multi millionaire.

well then this poor fucker is getting ready to be the richest man in the world

to put it in perspective; of all the years and all the hate and venom I have spewed in their general direction, this was the first guy I just plain felt bad for.

He looked like he might cry. I mean he's just in over his head, he has no business being out there. I felt nothing but pity.

Either I'm getting soft or these ass clowns have found a new low.
