High School Cincinnati Colerain Cardinals

Bolden tipped a pass in the flats and #24 Lang for Colerain picked it off and returned it inside the 10 but a block in the back puts the ball at the Cocoa 25 yard line. Cocoa cannot do anything offensively, and i'm honestly not sure how they are ranked #24 in the COUNTRY going into the season...

Agreed.

Not meant to bash the kid in any way, shape, or form as he is clearly a talented prospect. I think he benefits from a monster of a space eater in front of him & other talented kids around him in a great program. Colerain LB's haven't exactly been "scary" on the next level.

I was really impressed by their entire defense. They were really swarming the ball all day.

Why? Massive step backwards, correct?

the district office is a mess. teacher morale is at an all time low.
West offers him an administrative role. no teaching. a fat pay raise and arguably more talent than he had at Colerain.
Tom is a friend, classmate and teammate. I am absolutley crushed to see him go. but I totally understand why.
as for Colerain...we will do what we do. continue to outwork the competition. there are three sophomores that started on defense that will be 4 star recruits and I do believe the younger Pace (DB) will be a 5 star.
