Looks like somebody needs to call Vincent Vega.

Jimmy Haslam: The Browns have a stranglehold on fucked up football operations.

Mike Brown: Hold my beer.

I'm not even going to waste my time trying to find a cripple fight gif that expresses the level of cripple fight it is between these two sorry ass franchises for the sorriest crown.

Nothing known to man comes close.

Holy [Mark May]. The guy has been the head coach for 15 years, never won a playoff game, gone 13-18-1 the last two years and gets extended two years. If that isn't ownership basically saying "accept this mediocre [Mark May] and fuck yourself" to fans, I don't know what is.

Sorry, guys. That sucks.

Re: ESPN reported last month that Lewis planned to leave after the season. But Lewis always planned a postseason sit-down with owner Mike Brown, and sources say Brown was able to address Lewis' concerns enough to convince the coach to sign on for two more years. Coaches and people in the organization, expecting Lewis to leave, were surprised and pleased to learn he would be staying, according to sources.

The ESPN article indicates that Marvin Lewis wanted to leave and Mike Brown talked him out of it, i.e. into staying, etc.

Yeah I came here to post the same thing Script. Not only did we retain the most mediocre coach in NFL history (for two years, I might add), ownership had to convince him to stay. And we're going to lose a really good D coordinator because of it.

The funny part of it is, the Bengals had the lowest home attendance of any team in the league by like 10% (excluding the Chargers, who were playing in a 25k seat stadium while theirs gets built). I know Mike Brown would literally take a shit on a fan for $1, but you'd think at some point he'd see impacts to his bottom line of continuing to suck and make the easiest decision in the world.

FUCK THIS FRANCHISE. I'm certainly not going to give a shit how they do until Marvin is gone at least, and at this point it might take getting rid of Mike Brown for me to care again.

I live here. once had season tickets (wrote Mike Brown a 'go fuck yourself' letter in 2002) but was mostly just a casual fan. For reasons having to do with my dad and watching my first super bowl in 1977 I support and root for another NFL team. I want to feel sorry for Bengal fans. I really do...but so many of them continue to enable this type of thing. they continue to buy the gear and buy the season tickets. hell, reading the FB comments and its about a 70/30 split with the 70% supporting the decision and telling the other 30% they are fake fans. honestly, the majority of Bengal fans deserve it. not the few here that clearly have brains.
I'm just sitting here laughing. you could not write this kind of fiction and have anyone believe it was remotely believable.

Don't worry everyone, Lewis just redeemed himself by rehiring Lazor as the OC :smash:

I have this theory that our team is actually ran by the Steelers behind closed doors and they're the ones driving these decisions. It's the only theory I have.

I don’t think Lazor is completely terrible. Give him a couple of decent upgrades on the OL and I’d like to see how his offense does. He brought life to something Zampese couldn’t do shit with. But if the Bengals do some stupid shit (won’t be surprising at this point), and draft a WR knowing good and well the biggest need on this team is a starting OT and OG, it will be a lot of the same for the next few years.

1st round: OT or OG (Brown or Nelson)
2nd round: CB, LB or Safety
