Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

So did this injury happen after we drafted him? Or did it exist and we utterly fucked up our due diligence? Either way, this organization is just remarkable...

When it comes to OL, I’m still not sure I would’ve passed on him regardless of injury. Wanted Haskins, but drafting Williams and Jordan in the same draft hit it out of the park when it comes to building for the future.

I guess I see that mentality if we just concede that we'll be completely out of it. I really don't see that being the case, we have enough talent to compete. The obvious wildcard is the new staff. But I think Williams was a big piece of 2019 in the staff's mind. Could be wrong, I have no way of knowing what the Bengals are thinking at any given time.

I think this is still a 6-8 win team this season. Let Dalton walk after this year, don’t win a single game in 2020, draft Lawrence, game over.

Maybe Mikey will be dead by then, and whoever takes over the decision making actually make this happen.

So, you are saying that the Bengals will tank these two years and then draft a QB that will make Akili Smith look like Dan Marino. We know the Bengals will fuck up drafting a franchise QB.

a player like Haskins falling into your lap is maybe once every 15-20 years. the Bengals passed on him for a good LT. not a great LT. not the second coming of Anthony Munoz. just a good one. Haskins may hoist the Lombardi trophy twice before the Bengals find a franchise QB. on OL like the one they drafted can be found every year.

That might very well be the case. I'd prefer to just win 4 games or less rather than endure another 6-8 win season personally. The Mikey being dead part is likely the most crucial part of that whole equation.
