Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

Much better Day 3 in picking Jordan and Finley, both are excellent picks. Kind of scratching my head on the picks in round 2 and round 3. But getting Williams and Jordan makes me feel a lot better about the OL moving forward. I think Jordan was enormously undervalued and very happy to put him on the interior with Billy.

If they hadn't lit their 2nd rounder on fire, I think it's a solid B+. I don't disagree with the need for a TE, but you could have easily traded back to get Sample or probably just picked him up in the 3rd honestly. Would have loved to see them not move back at 42 and take Irv Smith there instead, maybe they didn't think the Vikings were going that direction and he'd drop to them and then panicked when Smith wasn't available. Regardless of rationale - it's a bad pick and significantly hurts the overall projection of the class in my mind.

Love Jordan, Wren, Rodney Anderson and fine with Finley (although don't love giving up the draft capital to move back up to get him but you'd amassed enough picks that maybe that's fine). Don't love double-up on RB when you didn't touch WR, DE, S.

Those are my exact thoughts as well. We needed to grab a TE but I felt there were better options than Sample and we could have waited longer until the 3rd or 4th rounds. Parris Campbell was sitting there at WR and I would have been fine picking Metcalf too (albeit less excited on Metcalf), we really needed another weapon to throw to and Sample is not it. Also would have been fine with a safety or LB there. Lots of good picks, just a couple that left me scratching my head.

Are you telling me it could be someone else?

The guy who doesn’t have a general manager and employs mostly family members in key front office positions?
