This team needed veteran QB leadership and the opportunity for guys like Kizer, who is very young, to grow by not having to be thrown to the wolves from day one. Hell even Kosar didn't start from day 1 and learned under Danielson for half a season. Unless I don't understand the role of the HC, Hue would have been the one to keep a veteran presence on the team. His ridiculous rotation of pulling Kizer, when he made a mistake, or starting one of the other young QBs made no sense.Has he mishandled the QBs? Or has Cleveland gone swinging for the fences time after time after time, just to miss horribly for the better part of 2 decades, and then some.
Also, I think a huge key to red zone success is having a RB that isn’t awful. I wouldn’t trade any of the Bengals top 3 RBs for any RB on Cleveland’s roster. Call me crazy, just incredibly unimpressed with that stable of backs.
Fantastic interview with your radio color guy on the Fan this morning...you’d think Dalton won 45 Super Bowls, AJ was the next Brady, and Hue is Amos Alonzo Bellichick
Man.
