Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

Literally everyone except our staff, I about smashed my glass on the floor after that pick. Glad we finally came to our senses, eventually you have to cut your losses on bad decisions even though it should have never been made.
I just wish he would’ve gone somewhere that would push him to improve, like… I don’t know.. Ohio State. But he secured the bag before NIL, so good for him, I guess.

What say you Bengals fans? Who do you want to win tonight?

It's always nice for the Ravens to drop some early games in hopes of getting up on them in the standings. On the flip side, the best rivalry in the NFL for the past three years might be Bengals vs. Chiefs (thank you dumb ass Mayor Aftab Pureval) so its always nice to see KC lose.

The very play after having a touchdown taken off the board, Burrow connected with #87 Hudson for a sure TD, except Hudson, in true Bengals form, held the ball where it would be easy to knock it out before he reached the end zone for no reason. That guy is a true Bengal, finding innovating ways to lose the game.

This is a fucking tragic train wreck in slow motion. Hopefully Burrow can get out while he can survive.

He’s part of the problem, imo. I know part of it that the OL has been dreadful, but now he panics at even a hint of pressure and either folds or throws a check down.

That was an absolutely pathetic effort. Cut Dax Hill’s sorry ass yesterday. At least 3 sorry attempts at arm tackles that ended up being whiffs.

I’m done with Zac Taylor.

I don't disagree with any of that, but this team is broken from top to bottom and I don't have enough fingers to count down the issues on this team. We're broken and there is no fixing this defense or coaching, which is a death sentence.

Moss is the obvious downgrade to Mixon, the OL doesn't look improved, half our DL is gone and Rankins is absolute garbage, the DL issues are leaving the back 7 in a tough spot but they're also playing horribly, Higgins is "hurt" being a bitch about his contract, and the coaches all around are just terrible now. I mean not going for it on 4th at the end and trusting the defense to get the ball back when you knew you couldn't stop the run? Idiotic is the nicest way I'll describe that decision.

I know it's Week 1, but we'll get smoked Week 2 against KC and be off to an 0-2 start. I don't see it getting any better, the Pats may go 1-16 this year with this being their only win.

I wish I could disagree with a single word there, but I’ve got nothing.

Look at Pittsburgh. A QB not 1/4 as good as Burrow playing a more talented team than we faced and they won.

How is it we spend money and draft picks year after year and somehow, despite all the time and effort, our O-line never gets better?

The same is true for the D-line as well. First and second round picks and free agents galore and virtually every time the other team needs a third down they're able to get one. Game after game....same story.

Is it really the talent or the scheme/coaches...?

We've changed players season after season and nothing much improves. The one thing we haven't changed is the head coach.

Maybe it's time to try that....?
