Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

Turns out that my "Give Up Addition" was 2015. I'm not committing myself to another full season only to lose in the first round of playoffs again. Sorry Cincy, but win a playoff game and I'll pay attention again.

Love the signing, will likely fill-in for Vontaze while he's suspended and could take over another starting spot when he's back. Worst case, he'll be a great nickel linebacker.

Saw a mock today I really liked (and not just because it has two Buckeyes):

1) Corey Coleman
2) Adolphus Washington
3) Javon Hargrave (DT SCSU)
4) Tyvis Powell
5) Eric Striker

Personally would prefer we not go WR in R1, but it's definitely the biggest need right now, or at least tied with DT. I would love to see us invest in someone who can make Peko a locker-room presence vs. a 600 snaps a year guy, so the Washington + Hargrave picks look great to me. And Striker is purely a luxury pick as a pass-rush specialist, but I think we generally have the roster to afford it.

Once Coleman, Doctson, and Treadwell were all off the board, I wanted to see us move back since there wasn't a WR available I liked. That being said, getting Jackson where we did is great value and is arguably a position of need, given Pacman's age + Kirkpatrick's ineffectiveness so far.... but don't know how you can really trust this staff drafting CBs if there is still a need after Kirkpatrick, Dennard, Shaw (maybe he's a safety?), Prater over the past 4 years.

Ideal scenario would be Michael Thomas drops to us in the 2nd and we take him there, but not optimistic about that happening given he's clearly the top of the WR board. IMO there's a tier-level drop there to Braxton Miller, Sterling Shepard, Leonte Caroo, Tyler Boyd, Charon Peake. Also, I LOVE the DT/DE that have dropped so far.

So my day 2 is pick Michael Thomas if available, if not go whoever is left of Chris Jones, Jonathan Bullard, Jihan Ward, Emmanuel Ogbah, Jarran Reed, Noah Spence, Kevin Dodd in that order. If we go Thomas then BPA of S or DL, if we go DL then take a WR.
