Power confrences, like the Big 10, usually focus on one heavy OOC game a year and playing 7 home games to fund the athletic budget. OSU's conference wins against Iowa, Penn State and Wisconsin dwarf UC's OOC win against Oregon State. Anybody who would argue any different is an idiot...not that I am calling you an idiot...but see your own post...
Look, I am a UC alumn and I root for my school. But there is no reason to trash OSU to root for UC. UC does not play OSU and they are not in the same conference. UC does not recruit the same players as OSU save for the highly rated talent in Cincinnati and, go figure, UC has yet to land one of those kids...and if Kelly leaves, which I fully expect to happen, UC won't get Matt James and you will be back in that hole in the wall you crawled out of last year....while I will still be purchasing UC football tickets as I have since 1981.
in other words: STOP MAKING US ALL LOOK LIKE DOUCHEBAGS WITH YOUR LITTLE BROTHER COMPLEX, ASSHOLE!
Dude, what? Oregon State is playing to go to the Rose Bowll; it's a big win..
And, I understand that conferences may schedule ONE big OCC game... MY point is THAT THE BIG TEN DIDN'T WIN ANY OF THEM! (Arizona was an OK win)
Also, Im not saying UC is better than OSU based on schedule.. Im saying UC is better based on record and ranking... Every other year I have no problem saying OSU is better than UC, because OSU IS usually (pretty much always) better... I don't understand Buckeye fans can't step up the way Eddie George did and admit that this year UC is better
