Cincinnati Bearcats (Juggalos official thread of Faygo)

Power confrences tend to not focus on having a heavy OOC schedule...and, for the record, you must be an Elder grad or a GCL grad because your entire stupid argument is based on a typical Cincinnati GCL mentality that says 'we're better than you because our schedule says so'...even if 2/3 of the teams you play are DII or lower schools.

Power confrences, like the Big 10, usually focus on one heavy OOC game a year and playing 7 home games to fund the athletic budget. OSU's conference wins against Iowa, Penn State and Wisconsin dwarf UC's OOC win against Oregon State. Anybody who would argue any different is an idiot...not that I am calling you an idiot...but see your own post...

Look, I am a UC alumn and I root for my school. But there is no reason to trash OSU to root for UC. UC does not play OSU and they are not in the same conference. UC does not recruit the same players as OSU save for the highly rated talent in Cincinnati and, go figure, UC has yet to land one of those kids...and if Kelly leaves, which I fully expect to happen, UC won't get Matt James and you will be back in that hole in the wall you crawled out of last year....while I will still be purchasing UC football tickets as I have since 1981.

in other words: STOP MAKING US ALL LOOK LIKE DOUCHEBAGS WITH YOUR LITTLE BROTHER COMPLEX, ASSHOLE!

:mad1:

Dude, what? Oregon State is playing to go to the Rose Bowll; it's a big win..

And, I understand that conferences may schedule ONE big OCC game... MY point is THAT THE BIG TEN DIDN'T WIN ANY OF THEM! (Arizona was an OK win)

Also, Im not saying UC is better than OSU based on schedule.. Im saying UC is better based on record and ranking... Every other year I have no problem saying OSU is better than UC, because OSU IS usually (pretty much always) better... I don't understand Buckeye fans can't step up the way Eddie George did and admit that this year UC is better

Wait, wait, wait. You're saying initial rankings are the reason the Big Ten teams are ranked higher? First off, you're wrong. At one point, quite recently in fact (ahem, last week), Pitt was ranked ahead of both tOSU and Iowa. WVU doesn't even enter into this argument because they didn't beat anybody worth a damn until Pitt. UC has been higher than tOSU and Iowa since early in the season. PSU has been slowly working their way back up since dropping after losing to tOSU. Your "initial rankings" argument is complete garbage.

As for "voter preference"...give me a break. TAKE IT TO THE E!SPN BOARDS AND WHINE ABOUT IT WITH ALL THE OTHER SISTERS OF THE POOR. I CAN TYPE IN ALL CAPS TOO.

HOW AM I WRONG?? THe big east had ZERO, as in 0, PRESEASON RANKED TEAMS, so YEs, the Big Ten Benefitted from having higher preseason rankings how can you not see that??????

Because, at this point in the season, we don't think they are. You guys were a couple special teams gaffes from gagging against Illinois, a Big Ten laughing stock. We feel our offense could score on your defense at least as much as the Illini did and our defense could contain your offense. That's my opinion anyway.

You guys have a nice team this year. But, instead of enjoying it, all you do is pull the "look at me!" crap and run your mouths when you know damn well there's no way of settling it on the field. The "no respect" crap is retarded too because you're currently #4 in the country. Enjoy your team, enjoy Kelly for as long as you have him and stop throwing pebbles at the more historic program. It's annoying.

Ugh. It's a baseless argument because UC is currently in the Top 5 and Pitt had managed to get ahead of the Big Ten's top 2 teams before spitting the bit against their rival. UC wouldn't be ranked ahead of UF, 'Bama or Texas no matter where they started because they simply aren't as good as them. Had Pitt started where tOSU did, They'd be sitting in the same spot they are right now with two losses. If you/they have a problem with that, they should have beaten a mediocre wvu team. How can you not see that??? Seriously...

Right.... So preseason rankings don't matter?? The Big East got ahead of Big Ten teams BECAUSE THEY WERE WINNING! Using your reasoning, it doesn't matter if you are preseason number 1 or not because preseason rankings don't matter.. that doesn't make any sense...

Also, there is NO WAY a 2 loss Pitt team would be 15th if they had started where OSU did... Behind a 3 loss Virgina Tech Team are u kidding?? PREseason rankings are huge!! I hope no other Buckeye fans actually believe what you do ... You make no sense

I hope and pray the Beavers go to the Rose Bowl and spank tOSU

Forget about the rest of your post. You make some good points but it's rude.

How can you expect Buckeye fans to give any respect to you and your team when you come in here and make quotes like that?

Or are you just talkn' trash, funnin' with big bro cause you got the high score in Donkey Kong?

If so, that's fine, that's what message boards are for. Just make sure you come back after the Pitt game, win or lose; and come back after your Bowl game, again win or lose. We'll be here. Somehow, I don't think you will, unless both of those games are W's.

Did you seriously think I just made it up?

If you are going to claim that someone made a statement, you should at least be able to cite a source.

Oh, wait, that's right. You probably heard it from your buddy who heard about it from someone else, who heard it from...
