LMAO! I was just listening to that too, and almost choked on my water! Kelly will be gone by the end of this year and UC will be back to being mediocre, at best! I'm from cincy and I have to laugh at all of these bandwagon UC fans who walk around with their chest and stare at me at bars in clifton when I'm wearing my tOSU gear. And then they want to start the arguement of who's better. I don't even get into it anymore because it was obvious once Kelly left UC will be the same average team they were before Kelly. And tOSU will be big brother like they always are

Look, I respect all 3 of the mid majors that are in the NC hunt. I think that Cincy, TCU and Boise have all had great seasons. They've really come to epitomize the plucky, little engine that could aspect of a great mid major program.

Out of these three, great mid-major programs I have to give the edge to Boise right now. Let's face it; none of these three mid-major programs have played a schedule worth a rat's ass. Boise, however, does have the singular signature win (Oregon) of the group. Therefore, they should be the highest ranked and first in line for a possible NC game invite should Texas falter.

If the Big East wasn't better than or equal to the ACC, I'd be more likely to buy your argument that it is a mid major conference.

Just saying it doesn't make it so. Va Tech is still better than Cincy and it has lost two within its own conference.

The ACC has a lot of good-mediocre teams - you know, kind of like Cincy. The Big East has a lot of mediocre-bad teams.

From 2005-2008 the Big East has a 21-21 record in head to head match ups with the ACC. That includes regular season 17-17 and bowl games 4-4. They are 2-2 this year so far.

Virginia Tech has not played Cincy this year, so I don't see how we can determine that one is better than the other.

Again, that was last year, not this year, and we cannot say that this year Virginia Tech is better than Cincinnati because they have not played. The stats say that overall, the conferences are pretty equal.
