Cincinnati Bearcats (Juggalos official thread of Faygo)

Wow. Pretty sure Louisville fans wanted him fired half the season and Satterfield wanted out all along.

Oh plus they have a bowl matchup coming up in a couple weeks.

a bit late to the party but yea Satterfield was probably close to the chopping block and Cincinnati comes and hires him away. Lol. A extremely lame duck hire. Only can set the Juggalos backwards.

This might say as much about the popularity of Big 12 football as anything else. UC also had a historic run over the last two years. But, decent numbers nonetheless. The ratings are for regular season games only.

The respective schedules are full of top shelf tv ratings teams.

Cincinnati Schedules
2021
Indiana
Notre Dame
Bama in CFP

2022
Indiana
Arkansas
Louisville in Fenway Bowl

UCF Schedules
2020
Georgia Tech

2021
Louisville
Florida in Gasparilla Bowl

2022
Louisville
Georgia Tech
Duke in Military Bowl

BYU Schedules
2021
Arizona
Utah
Arizona State
Baylor
Washington State
Virginia
USC

2022
Baylor
Oregon
Notre Dame
Arkansas
Stanford

Houston Schedules
2021
Texas Tech
Auburn in Birmingham Bowl

2022

One issue is sample size. Four games is not a lot to go on. Also not many common opponents. Would be interesting to compare ratings of BYU and Cincinnati in the Arkansas and Notre Dame games. But not interesting enough for me to dig up the numbers.

After thinking about it, comparing the ratings of the Cincinnati/Indiana game to the other games Indiana played that year would probably provide more useful information on the relative popularity of UC than comparing the UC/Indiana game to some random G5 verses P5 contest.
