I think they end up dropping one in the regular season. They're a very good team but Ridder looks questionable at times and one of UCF/SMU/Tulane should be able to score on them enough to win.
The ND win is big for the program if you look at it without context, but this particular ND team is not that good. They'd be below OSU, Iowa, PSU, MSU & TTUN in the B10.

Jack Coan winning the starting job says a lot about the state of the offensive skill in South Bend. Regardless, this particular ND team is arguably no better or worse than any other ND team the past 15 years.
For a program so often fellated, it's really quite spectacular that you have to go back to Brady Quinn to find a ND team that had consistent, All America worthy production from the QB position, and then all the way back to Rick Mirer before Quinn.
That's two good QBs in 30 years!

I've got a Bearcat fan cousin and I'll tell you with 100% certainty he isn't a troll and many of them are that level delusional.
