The juggalos are already bitching about Fickell. Many will be outraged if he stays with Ohio State for the playoffs, yet these are the same imbeciles who foam at the mouth because Body Kount bailed on them before the Sugar Bowl.

How will Fickell deal with/react to the hate for all things to$u?
Dantonio came from to$u but he was not an to$u lifer as he was born in TX, lived in Ohio but played at SC and coach quite a few places beside a brief stint at to$u.

Luke is an to$u lifer. It does not excite me that the best we can get is a failed to$u interim HC, CO-DC.

Still hope for something else.

If Fickell stays for CFP he is done
That will tell us everything we need to know about his commitment to this job. As the HC of UC, any success from OSU is going to cause more harm than good to our program.

There are like 10 rednecks that post on that board.

This UC alumnus is torn. I went to UC out of high school because of family health reasons. Wanted to go to Ohio State but had to be near home to help daily. I bleed scarlet and gray but I do root for my alma mater. As a Buckeye fan I'm sad to see Fickell and Coombs go. As a UC grad/fan I am happy to see them being Bearcats.
The idiots that hate Ohio State will never change. I don't even argue with them anymore.

It's not even worth it. Most of them don't even have valid reasons to hate OSU in the first place

No, it's not. I only hope that they one day recognize that they happened to buy the $10,000,000 scratch-off lottery ticket with this hire. Or, these hires, as it were. If things go as I would suspect, they'll end up putting enough butts in seats that they'll be able to start writing black ink on that stadium expansion they did down there.

So, half the juggalos are distraught that Coombs isn't coming back and the other half seem to have a burning hatred for him and throw terms such as "West Side Jesus" and "Coleraine Jesus" around. I never took any classes in Juggalogy in college, so maybe somebody can enlighten me. Is this because he left the juggalos for Ohio State? Or is it that bizarre provincial Cincinnati thing of judging you by your high school? Is it the St. X/Moeller crowd hating on him for class reasons or the fact that Coleraine is a public high school?

For a city that likes to think it's big time, it sure as shit acts like a small town.

Dude, it's way more than ten. The lunatic fringe over there is at least a third of the board, and they are spectacular. Some truly believe that Ohio State maneuvered Zimpher into the UC Presidency just so she could fire Huggins. Today, one is saying that Fickell will go into top recruits' living rooms just to tell them to go to o$u. With the first 5* stud recruit from Coleraine or St X who goes to Ohio State, we're going to see BWI level madness. I eagerly await it.
