I'm thinking he was vastly over rated as a high school player due to all the attention he got because of his famous relative (i.e. Blair Kiel was his uncle). This happens all the time, another example is Joe Montana's kids, i.e. over rated in HS because of the family connection/name, get scholarship to big school, "bomb out", and then transferring to small school, etc.

When Gunner is on, he can really light things up. But he's apparently not durable. I think he also had some maturity issues as a freshman. First he was going to Indiana, then LSU. Ended up at Notre Dame but then transferred to UC because he didn't like being fourth on the depth chart.

At this point he's just pulling shit out of his ass: top 5 programs in accounting and marketing, missed AAU invitation by only two votes because the mean old B10 schools voted in a block to keep them out. All of it is unreferenced of course. He's also saying that Fredo has a crappy business school (hell, even I give them credit for their business school) and his waitress this morning had a biz degree from Fredo.

The Big 12 is far too cruel to end the G5 torture by slamming the door on expansion next Tuesday. I expect them to continue to feign interest in numerous schools for many more months.
