They will always be 2nd fiddle to CU... and not just b/c CU is the definitive flagship. CU is a short jaunt from Denver. Anymore CSU is 2 hours... thanks to traffic congestion. And their alumni base isn't particularly active. In fact, the whole state is very bandwagon. Avalanche were god's gift when they were winning. Now nobody cares. CU was god's gift when they got that singular heisman (and beat scUM in epic fashion)... now nobody cares.
But CSU is even outside that realm. It's distantly removed from the single significant city in Colorado (in terms of ratings and media attention)... both physically and metaphorically. Even their recent bout of success with McElwain barely moved the needle in Denver... even with their large alum base. People just aren't motivated to travel 2 hours up there... and if it did become popular, it'd quickly balloon to 3 because all the Front Range cities have actively voted against expanding I25. Actively refuse to add lanes to the major thoroughfares in town. Moving the stadium on campus won't change that because you'll just spend the same amount of time in stop-and-go traffic on the 2 streets with 2 lanes that have access to highly limited parking.

LOL. Somehow, their simple juggalo brains have now blocked out everything that Boren just said. When 7-19 comes and passes, I'm sure this imbecile will latch onto another future date.

Also, their thread on a new President has devolved into a discussion of whether or not athletic department employees ever spit on Nancy Zimpher when she was in the building. Most juggalos seem to be in the pro-spitting camp.
