My sister is a great cook:

Shrimp cocktail
Cheeses - brie, cheddar, and swiss
Crackers with a smoked trout cheese spread (fish caught by my brother-in-law from a local NW Ohio trout stream)
Sweet bread and butter pickles (canned by my other sister)

Pecan salad with mandrin oranges with homemade dressing
Grilled Beef tenderloin with hollandasie
Baked Potato casserole
Baked artichoke hearts with carrots

Lots of wife made cookies, cakes and other goodies

Home made dark beer
more beer

Very good meal and a very nice Christmas!

Dinner at sushi's house.

In my house we had turkey and all of the trimmings, with plenty of Crown Royal for dessert.

We don't have a big, fanciful "Christmas Dinner." My family has always celebrated together on Christmas Eve (mom's side) with a gazillion hors d'oeuvres, then Christmas brunch (dad's side) in the afternoon on the 25th.

Christmas dinner is leftovers.
