If Brax finds his receivers and our passing game takes the next step up I see this having a big impact on Kirk. For as dynamic as our offense has been so far under Meyer, the passing game hasn't been as impacted by the new scheme compared to the running game. To be fair, Brax has to have receivers helping themselves out by running good routes and getting open. I see that happening this year and it will have an impact on our WR recruiting. Not being a homer here but I truly think Kirk fits our offense a little better than aTm but we need to show it on the field.
Congrats to WR Christian Kirk for earning his fifth star in the #Rivals100 http://instagram.com/p/r18Bg5p4dd/
Looks like he will see those guys utilized even more now with Braxton out.I was about to post the same thing. A&M will be tough to beat without a doubt but hopefully the combination of seeing our young guys in the pivot excel/get a ton of touches and the stockpile of WRs taken at A&M in the past couple years will sway him. Plus, you know our guys (Hilliard, Cornell, etc.) will be working on him hard.
KIRK UNSURE IF HE'LL VISIT
Christian Kirk was one key player noticeably absent from Ohio Stadium this weekend, despite being one of the primary 2015 prospects the Buckeyes wanted in attendance. Kirk, who visited Columbus twice on his own dime this past winter and summer, said he's not sure at this point if he'll be back. He feels that since he's familiar with Ohio State, he might be better served taking an official visit to a school he's not been to as frequently. He does have two of his official visits scheduled at this point, and the first is this coming weekend.
"I'm going to Texas A&M this weekend and Auburn on October 4th," Kirk told Eleven Warriors. "I still feel good about Ohio State, but I am not sure that an official visit there would make me feel any different about them than I already do. There's still a possibility I'll make an official there, I'm just not sure yet."
Sounds and feels like the Buckeyes' chances of landing the speedster from Arizona are shrinking, unfortunately.
Oh My this thread better get back to KirkIf the Big Ten doesn't turn things around on the field, this will become common. Who really wants to play in the Big Ten right now? I think Ohio State would have a better chance recruiting if they left the conference, to be honest.
IMO he is right though
