If LJ Sr. is as good as advertised with the DL wouldn't this help the secondary? We have oodles of talent at DL and some darn good DBs that just need coached up. As was stated a couple of years ago, "IN URBAN WE TRUST"

We have enough coaches that are super recruiters. So we can take on a coach that has more of a strength in coaching/style/play calling. Besides, I am sure he will learn how to recruit better just by being around guys like Meyer, Fickel & Johnson.

Look.. if we got a pro coach like Pagac or Joseph, we would probably not have strong recruiters in either of them as well. I want someone who can coach and play call. It is quite obvious that or DBs were not being properly coached up. Lets get someone in that can get that done correctly.

Just sayin':

The college "recruiting game" evolves with the latest technology and gets more competitive every year. You can never have enough super recruiters.

Also, you can teach/instruct a coach how to be a better recruiter; however, if he just doesn't like recruiting (and many coaches don't), he probably will never be a consistently great recruiter.
