You can just imagine how the University leadership at Notre Dame view this one. They are really over a barrel, but if he loses five, jumping in and going over Niagra Falls might seem a whole lot easier than talking to the Domer alumni.

Yep. That is still a bad football team. The OLine is still bad. They have talent at RB and pretty good recievers, but no blocking up front. The D still gets gashed by any decent RB. Weis now has 3 full recruiting classes under his enormous belt full of bluechip prospects and they still suck. Nearly beating SC in '05 is probably the worst thing that ever happened to them.
