-NoD nation can tolerate the 14 year Bowl losing streak.

-They can tolerate humiliating defeat everytime they play a team thats actually in the class they pretend to still be in.

-They can even live with the specter of starting coach hunt #4/5 since the Lisper left town.

They lose their grip on the commander-n-chief trophy and there will be hell to pay. Its all they have left. There aren't enough orange cream margaritas in the universe to drown out that pain.

Think about it, what trophies have they been able to add to the trophy case since 1994? Do they give out a trophy for losing a Bowl? If so, why would you ever display it(a stupid fucking broken rail for winning a game you were favored in I can see, but I digress)?

CW loses bragging rights over the service acadamies and he's done.

Agreed. They'll kick the shit out of them and then we can hear about how the bowl system is entirely unfair because it punishes a great team like Notre Dame that had to rebuild and was finally hitting their stride, but couldn't recover from the 1-7 start that was caused only by their increidbly difficult schedule. I can hear it now....
