Charlie Weis (ex-Kansas HC, ex-Fla OC, Notre Dame legend, UnDecided Schematic Advantage)

Clausen goes pro and next year they just have a true frosh at QB because of the knee op to the back up. So they start losing badly and we hear........."It's all Weis's fault! He brought in the wrong guys!" :tongue2:

Actually I'd think they'll start out with Evan Sharpley as their starting QB next year....

Look for a tsunami when he falls back into Lake Michigan.

PS, it's good to see his ego survived the operation.

I am honestly amazed that he didn't quit to take a OC job, but with the NFL season still on-going, Ntre Ame was good to act quickly and can his fatass (must be a hell of a can though)....

If he had quit he wouldn't have gotten his buyout.

Charlie is a good guy that just wasn't very good at recruiting defensive talent......or implementing a defensive gameplan.

ESPN is also reporting that Bowden has been forced out and will forced to retire...........hey Seminole fans....be careful what you wish for.

Apparently 18 million reasons to endure the whacking.

And this is CWs parting Failure.

ND said that he did not meet their expectations for the program. Neither did he meet the expectations that he very publicly set for himself when he was hired.

If he were coaching a Japanese football team it would have been harakiri time (if an adequate length sword could have been obtained).

For all those recalcitrant Domers who were the last to admit his on field failings but continued to defend his character this defines it. He admitted they should fire him but wouldn't quit - because he wanted their money.

(To be clear, I would do the same. But nobody has ever tried to defend MY character.)
