IMO this is an almost unimaginable situation for their program.

The fans are in open revolt. Recruits have to be second guessing if he will be there more than one year (never has a ten year contract meant so little) and if not who will replace him. His team has regressed as the season has gone on and his players are being openly laughed at.

IMO this decision could be revisited after the bowl. I would like to see the wording of any official announcement from the AD.

Per the ND boards the announcement may have been premature. Nobody at ND will confirm that CW is coming back.

If they fire CW I sure better get that BB gun.

I cannot believe they would make this decision before the bowl game. ND is slated to play a mediocre team---if they lose I am not sure how you keep Weis on board.

There's a good chance they'll play a team like Hawaii in their lower tier bowl game...if they get blown out (like 31-3) I can't see bringing him back. The again, I don't have to pay is buyout or the rental forklift fee to move his ass out of the building.
